I am the owner and operator of the original 5280 Mobile DJ. I currently reside in Aurora, Colorado with my wife and two dogs.
My wife Sarah and I got married in the summer of 2006 after a 7 1/2 year courtship, so we may be newlyweds, but no suprises here.
Our wedding was fantastic and the weather was crazy; we had a massive hail storm twenty minutes after our ceremony was over, and yes, the wedding was outside. We then were graced by the most amazing rainbows and orange sky we have ever seen, so it was a memorable day!
I had been DJing weddings for years before my own, so I thought I would be calm and collected for my own. That was the furthest thing from the truth; I was a mess before the ceremony and I didn’t calm down until the ceremony was over. I certainly have a new respect for the preparations people go through on their wedding day. It is very important for me to realize that every wedding that I do is of such great importance to my clients.
